This Glenorchy Scenic tour is approximately 4 hours, departing Queenstown daily at 9am and returning at 1pm.
*Please note minimum passenger numbers are required for this tour to operate.
Pick up and drop off is from the Station Information Centre, Cnr Camp and Shotover Streets. Which is located in downtown Queenstown.
The minimum numbers to operate the tour is 3, the maximum we will take is 16 passengers in one vehicle.
There is no minimum age for this tour.
Yes it is a family friendly for people of all ages.
The Glenorchy Tour operates all year round, Its recommended to bring a waterproof jacket during winter.
The drive from Queenstown to Glenorchy is approximately one hour as we stop at key locations on the way, for some incredible views and a chance for beautiful photos.
We have umbrellas on board.
Yes you can dress in Lord of the Rings costumes on the tour, we will visit locations that will make your look like you are in the movie.
We also carry costumes and props on the tour.
Your guide will set up a New Zealand (Kiwi) inspired morning or afternoon tea in a picturesque outdoor location. You will be able to taste local favorites such as lolly cake, cheese rolls, L&P, tea, coffee and Pineapple Lumps.
